In the arena, your mind fires before your horse does. If your perspective shifts, your reactions change — and your results follow.
Breaking Ground helps competitors handle pressure, stay clear in the moment, and compete like they do at home.
From Arena to the Mind:
A Competitor's Journey

Been There.
Rode Through It.
Lydia is a lifelong competitor, WPRA Breakaway Rookie of the Year, and former college rodeo coach who specializes in mental performance for equine athletes. She combines sports psychology principles with real-world experience to help riders compete with clarity and confidence under pressure.

The Breaking Ground Mission
Breaking Ground focuses on shifting the perspective that drives your decisions, habits, and performance. When riders understand how their mind interprets pressure, they can choose responses that lead to stronger results in both practice and competition.
